Holiday Inn Express Beijing Temple Of Heaven By Ihg, Beijing

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and was impressed by the spacious rooms, although they lacked the city views I had hoped for. The service, especially from Carol and Alisa, who assisted with organizing my trips to the Great Wall and the opera, was friendly and helpful. The location, though a bit challenging to find for taxi drivers, was within walking distance of the Temple of Heaven. The dining options offered a variety of Chinese dishes but could have had more Western choices. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.

The hotel is conveniently located near Beijing South Railway station, which is a positive aspect for travelers. The rooms, although clean, have not been renovated and had a strong odor of ashtray. The friendly staff, however, made the stay comfortable.
